2019年12月3日 · yes, the original firmware has a "download_plugin" sprx already, that it's in charge of doing background downloads. My basic idea (if it's possible) would be to load that .sprx plugin from the PKGi app, add a download to the queue, and then let the plugin handle it. Then if you exit the app, the background download keeps doing it's job.

2019年12月11日 · you can try switching to background download mode, and it will use the original background downloader module on the XMB. That's probably the fastest you'll get on the ps3 hardware. Just keep in mind, when you do a background download, you need to reboot the ps3 to get the XMB to start the download.

Set the PS3 to 192.168.0.3; Set the gateway on both PC and PS3 to 192.168.0.1; Set the subnet mask the same for both to 255.255.255.0; Set the DNS on both to be 8.8.8.8; Do not bother testing the connection on PS3, it will fail, skip the test. Then make sure this app says 192.168.0.2 for the IP.(or whatever your PCs IP is set to)

(the app can't parse the DB and dies there) again, there are many ps3 firmwares, setups and Mods flying around, and my dev environment is a "vanilla" PS3 HEN (4.84)...
