2016年8月27日 · I tried both and procrastinated, decision made when my club adopted the Aero as a class. There's a view from some who have tested both, and which I happen to share, that the D-Zero is a better inland boat and the Aero is a better sea/estuarial boat. Some D-Zero boosters will insist it is better all around.

2014年2月28日 · Fwiw HISC adjust quite heavily away from RYA numbers. Laser is 1116, Radial 1168, 4.7 1244. I find it extraordinary that the 5 could be quicker than a full Laser. 5% in fact! If that is accurate, that's amazing!

2023年12月16日 · The RS Aero is a great little boat, and at 77 pounds for the hull would be managable by one if built as a nesting dinghy, and should fit in a truck bed. It is over 11K new in the US, and would be heavier and more expensive as nester. I am not sure what the market would be for a 12K nesting sailboat.

2016年3月28日 · Hey gang. I capsized and rolled my Aero in the surf several times this weekend. No broken mast and she weathered the abuse well. However, the fun did cause the lower batten in my sail to stab through the leech pocket that's supposed to hold it in. It just stabbed through like a little dagger...
