2024年10月9日 · I have a 24 Traverse Z71 with similar problems. Purchased in July. A few weeks ago - No Onstar, no gps, WiFi, Supercruise… System test found code U1615. Apparently there is a service bulletin #PIT6214 with message #B19DA for this problem. So GM is aware with no repair at this time.

2021年9月22日 · Yep I got it also, tossed in the trash. Too pricey also. My old memory says it was over $100 . GM update will not be as current as your phone is. Long time GPS user doing home service and even my Garmin's updated regularly didn't have new developments and roads in it. Phone was pretty good on newer roads but it still was lacking.

2020年1月6日 · I recently installed a Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX and wanted to retain the factory GPS antenna. I ordered the idatalink ACC-SAT-TO2 from sonicelectronix and of course it had two XM adapters and no pioneer GPS adapter. Amazon was able to send me the correct wires. The connections for XM and GPS use the same connector and was wondering which is which.
How can I permanently disable Toyota GPS tracking?
2021年2月19日 · So my new truck allows Toyota to read every bit of info from my truck in real time including my GPS location and speed. Now I have already turned off their gracious "complementary" safety connect/service connect but I am almost positive my truck's data can still be accessed by Toyota remotely if they desired.

2015年11月3日 · Hello, I am the proud new owner of a 2016 Tacoma double cab Limited in Super White.....and new to this forum. My truck will not initialize the GPS. The clock does not work since its getting a feed from the GPS. Also on the Navigation page, the GPS status on the top left of the screen has a red diagonal thru GPS.

2014年4月9日 · My portable Garmin GPS has updates, free, throughout the year. The cost to update the traverse GPS according to the people at General Navigation Center is $200.00 plus another $30.00 to ship the updates (on a flash drive I believe) to Canada.

2019年4月10日 · Think the GPS companies gives GM and others discount on hardware as long as locked down so they can get some revenue for people to upgrade maps. Be nice if they at least gave you a free map upgrade once a year. But that would conflict with an ongoing revenue stream for a these companies.

2013年10月2日 · Not sure about GPS, but all new vehicles sold since 2009 or so have "black boxes" that can be downloaded by insurance companies and probably dealerships in the event of an accident or claim... GPS tracking wouldn't surprise me much, especially in vehicles equipped with a GPS system. Welcome to the post-911 America. Someone is always watching.

While paper street maps have become rare, there is thing called Google Map, which I often consult before heading into new territory. I also have my Garmin.
