2023年6月22日 · The RTX 8000 has dual rate FP16 (just like other Turing based cards) which explains why you see a big jump from going from FP32 to FP16. Essentially you can consider it a 2080 Ti with a lot of VRAM. In theory it has 15-20% higher performance but given the near identical TDP it's more realistic to expect ~10% uplift.

Quadro RTX 8000 (workstation card lineup) released in 2018 is Turing microarchitecture. A40 (datacenter card lineup, formerly Tesla) released in 2020 is Ampere microarchitecture, the one after Turing. Both should have 48 GB memory. The Ampere GPUs have hardware advancements in the tensor cores and other improvements that should be useful for you.
