2023年11月6日 · I'm looking at getting into rally, with a budget of ~$12k-$15k, and preferably as low as possible. I've been looking on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace. There are some rally cars there, but they aren't necessarily built to the specific requirements of the ARA logbook (i.e. FIA rollcage standards, just basic rollcages.)

2023年2月11日 · The 911 Dakar is not a rally car. Not even close. It’s simply a car presented as being for going off the pavement but not in competition. No manufacturer is going to make a street legal rally car to be purchased for racing use. The potential liability is just too great.

Budget is 6/7k, Would rather have a AWD car as the stages are pretty much all dirt or thick sand! Almost every brand is manufacturing cars between standard hatchbacks and SUV’s. As an off-road race, I believe WRC could revise itself as crossover cars modified for rallies.
