2021年11月10日 · Officially, the new CGWU will be available to the entire workforce in the later part of fiscal year 2023, and expected to completely replace the operational dress uniform (ODU) in fiscal year 2025. Once available, you can expect to see the new CGWU in Coast Guard Exchanges – or by placing an order at ShopCGX.

The current working uniform of the Coast Guard is the Operational Dress Uniform (ODU). The ODU may be worn year-round primarily as a field utility and watchstanding uniform, but may also be worn in an office environment where appropriate.

2017年11月22日 · The ODU shirt is single-breasted design with a pointed collar, a semi-suppressed waist and straight cut bottom. The shirt has a concealed button front closure, two breast pockets with flaps with an embroidered Coast Guard shield centered on the right breast pocket with the left breast pocket having a conceale d pencil pocket opening.

4 天之前 · The ODU top is an integral part of the uniform, and the Coast Guard dark blue crew neck T-shirt is the prescribed undergarment. If the ODU top sleeves are rolled up, they shall be done so in prescribed accordion style with only the cuff showing.

The Operational Dress Uniform (ODU) is the normal work uniform of the United States Coast Guard, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps, and the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (PHSCC).

The USCG Military Uniforms Branch manages the design, wear, and grooming standards for all Coast Guard personnel and other service members assigned to duty with the USCG.

As of January 1, 2022, all members of the USCG Auxiliary are authorized to wear either the existing untucked ODU or the new AWU. The AWU is purchased at the Auxiliary Association Member Store through links to the uniform’s providers and will be available to all members of the AUXILIARY after Jan 1, 2022.
