2010年10月29日 · The .26 Nosler doesn’t do much more than any of the smaller “big” .264’s if it does any more at all. It’s running high pressure and using a 28” barrel. Published data for most other cartridges is running lower pressure from shorter barrels.

2001年5月2日 · I like the 26 Nosler for what it is; a cartridge that'll knock down deer size game way the heck out there without a long time of flight for the bullet. I wouldn't beat on the barrel any more than my rum's (7mm and 300) or stw. I do put a heck of a lot of rounds on those rifles at times though, and the bores are holding up very well.

2017年3月12日 · I just built a 26 Nosler on Rem 700 platform. 26" barrel and been using 127 LRX. Still testing to find a load. My current load is 91grs. US869 (Max load) with the 127 LRX, and getting good ES but groups have been inconsistent. Going to rest and again see what happens. \ I agree the powder is dirty even when at max loads.

2018年11月6日 · I bought a 26 Nosler as an impulse and didn't have time to reload. The LRAB were the only factory ammo in stock, so I bought the 142gr. We went over to Kodiak on a winter goat hunting trip in February, and long range was a possibility so that's what I went with. I didn't know anything about LRAB, thought they were just AB modified for better BC.

I have had good luck with the Barnes in all my rifles and out of the 4 bullets I have tried ( 127gr LRX, 129gr Nosler lrab, 142gr Nosler lrab, and, 129gr Double tap long range) the 127gr LRX by far were the most accurate but all of that was purchased ammo, Nosler …

2016年3月26日 · Nosler has data on their website for the 26 Nosler. I'm going to start there with my brothers new rifle, once he gets it scoped. Only difference I can see is that the new manual I have (Nosler Reloader 8) drops max 1-2 grains for the 140-142 Accubonds. I have both the 142 Accubond and 143 ELD-X. They measure exactly the same for length.

2020年9月25日 · I've been using a browning LR in 26 Nosler sense 2017 , it's a love hate relationship, it's picky and likes reload only. I originally diled it in with 143gr Eldx 1.5 inch groups still I wasn't to crazy about it.

2017年2月12日 · I finally found a load in my 26 nosler that shot sub .5 moa at 100 yards. I am using 140 Berger VLDs and Retumbo as my charge. The load is on the hotter side but no sticky bolt, some slight primer puckering, chrono read 3370 as the average which honestly surprised me because this is near starting load according to bergers data.
