When I later put regular TF service on a phone (Iphone SE 2) that used to be on Safelink, the phone got deactivated after a while for no reason (I had plenty of service days).

Before this I had a T-mobile LG stylo 2 (unlocked). Never has any rebranding occurred with any of the phones. Again that is something you only see with major carriers.
