I want a bank with easy mobile banking like huntington, direct deposit options, and ability to obtain a credit card ASAP to begin building my credit. Im inexperienced, scared, and want to start out on the absolute best foot possible to reduce any issues i may have down the line. absolutely any advice is greatly appreciated.

One, I changed the email to the online banking account recently, so the system may have recognized it as an account being compromised. I was with USAA for banking since 2013, but was considering switching banks in mid-2023. There's nothing *wrong* with USAA's banking platform - solid bank, but not much in incentives to stay there. Interest rate sucks (like it does with most brick & mortars), no great features, etc. I checked Ally and then heard about SoFi.

Basically, S mode is garbage they sell to scam non-nerds. It's a limited mode that windows can sort-of operate in on computers that are not actually capable of running windows.
