2022年1月25日 · Not sure how well these tires would be on the street, especially in the Spring and Fall temps. The final option is looking at 245/50R16 tires. These are not that common either, but I do have a source for some Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 tires in stock and available. The car has the 9.5" wide tires, so I understand the 245 might be right at the minimum.

2023年12月17日 · This is for anyone who is interested in installing wide tires on a C8 Stingray. I have a 2021 Stingray with factory wheels. I replaced the Factory the 245 front tires with 285/30 ZR 19" and replaced the 305 rear tires with 335/25 ZR 20". The new tires are Michelin AS 4. I like the wider tire look. I had no problems with clearance.

2019年10月20日 · The "sledgehammer" had specially designed tires to run that record (reported cost 1 million to design them and they were supposedly good to 300 mph). "Normal" Callaway's got the conventional tires for the time, which were Z rated which limited you to 149 mph (240 KPH). Z rated is 149 mph, but they could go over.

I think they must produce them in small batches, because they are insanely expensive at $571 USD/per tire. 2021年12月15日 · Big fat tires are good on the dry, and with diligent driving ok in the wet, but they are no good in the winter. Corvettes are not cheap to maintain and throwing salt and brine into the mix, in a car with 30 year old electronics and wiring, would just be looking for trouble.
