2016年6月18日 · On the terminology first, "water sandpaper" is not the commonly used name for this type of paper. It's generally referred to as wet-and-dry, wet-n-dry or wet-or-dry paper (with or without the hyphens) as well as wet/dry paper. And note that 'sandpaper' is especially a misnomer here since this type of paper isn't, and has never been, made from sand.

2015年7月23日 · Dry paper is just that, paper and it takes about 5 seconds to turn it into gritty sticky mush, when wet with water or solvents.. the higher grit ratings are for finer and finer surface sanding with water. I have 24 grit Wet paper and trimkuts for the 4 1/2 inch angle grinder. the grit does not matter with the Wet Dry or Dry types.

2018年7月17日 · Clogging usually happens on a belt sander. I had this problem, unsuccessfully tried all the usual solutions, and just switched to coarse paper on an orbital sander and I had no clogging issues at all. Definitely worth a try. Since the paper path on an orbital sander is essentially random it just doesn’t seem to clog.

Dry the brush as thoroughly as possible on more clean, dry paper towels or cloths. Now you wash the brush in warm soapy water, splaying the bristles out in the palm of your hand or against the base of the sink, working up a good lather, and then rinse thoroughly. I can't stress how much difference warm water makes here.
