2022年6月28日 · Doom 64 Reloaded is an enhancement of Doom 64 that has been over two years in the making. It takes the Doom 64 engine to its limit to expand upon the already creepy atmosphere of the game. Each level has additional detail, graphics, and the number of levels has been expanded to 48 (with 7 additional deathmatch maps).

2020年11月18日 · Well, there is the good ol' Doom 64 EX. And there is the official Doom 64 rerelease which has new content, too. And there is GEC team's recreation by forking GZDoom. And there is a remastered, spruced up and expanded recreation in the form of a GZDoom mod called Doom 64 Retribution by @Nevander which is my favourite way to play Doom 64.

If you are new to Doom 64 this is also a fantastic wad to play through as well as it is not completely over the top like some of the stuff you see in Ethereal Breakdown or Doom 64 reloaded (Those wads have some very challenging maps that might seem a little too tough for new doom players).

2014年7月27日 · I guess if they released Doom like this on the N64 instead of Doom 64 in the past it would not have as much popularity. Don't get me wrong, I loved (still love) Doom 64, but I always felt a little off about the authenticity factor of it (which makes sense when reading that it was an original property with Doom branding grafted on later).

2025年1月2日 · I and many others have completed Hexen N64 without issue, so this bug isn't innately in the N64 port. I also haven't seen it reported anywhere else, so it seems like a rare occurrence. It's been a long time since I played through the N64 Hexen, so I can't remember if something specifically has to be done to trigger the placement of the skull.
