The problem is the remote. He's dropped / tripped with and damaged two remotes now and damaged the steering on one and the throttle on the other.

The car has lights on both sides - blue and red. The remote has a constantly blinking red light on the middle, which send to suggest to me that it's trying to pair but can't.
