So here is my question, since the hp variants (of the x360 pavilions) seems to be fundamentally of the same model, i was wondering if its possible to swap out a non-backlit keyboard to a backlit keyboard?

2023年7月27日 · If the image in the description below is not present on your key, then keyboard backlighting is likely to not be an option your laptop was delivered with. Yours is a mainstream laptop. HP's mainstream laptop do not always have all or very many of the features that a Spectre laptop would. A backlit keyboard is a premium feature.

2024年1月7日 · The various articles I have read suggest that the keyboard may still be backlit and other keys can be used with or without the Fn key. The point of my original post is that given the model (which I hope I did in my original post and now this one) someone can say definitively whether or not this model has a backlit keyboard. The light keyboard is not supported in this version, even F5 command is blank. Is there any chance to find a compatible keyboard with light, It doesn't matter the color.

2018年10月15日 · The thing is there is a separate ribbon to power the lights to the keyboard. So totally there's 2 ribbons, the normal ribbon and the other for the lights of the keyboard. And I'm not sure I have the port to plug the ribbon which powers the backlight. And I'm afraid to open it up myself and see, plus it avoids my warranty.

Today while working ( on battery) I noticed that if Iam not typing the keyboard goes off after 30 seconds. Is there solution how to turn on keyboard light all the time.
