2008年9月4日 · Need help. After 2 months with new fuel pump on 2001 sport trac fuel pressure drops to 40psi then codes bank 1 and 2 running lean comes on.replaced cats and run new ground wire to fuel pump.engine runs but no power.

2009年12月31日 · A clogged fuel filter will eventually kill a fuel pump. Ford recommends you change the fuel filter every 30,000 miles. If you've never changed one, you'll have fun getting the old one off. The trick I that the lines must be able to press on to the filter a little bit in order to get the clips to release using the disconnect tool.

2012年3月19日 · Fuel pump relay is in the engine bay fuse/relay box mine is number 48. to get the fuel running remove relay, jump terminal numbers 3 and 5. i had a hose with a bike pump fitting on it, put that over the shrader valve pushed down tight, also lever was pushed down tight. jumped 3 and 5 terminal and pumped fuel in to a jerry can.

2005年3月15日 · 20 psi isn't enough for the engine to run; you need at least 30, and spec fuel pressure is 35-45 psi. If you haven't put a pressure gauge on it, I think that's the next thing I would do. That only tests to see if fuel is getting into the rail. If the fuel injectors don't fire, the fuel cant' get into the cylinders and the engine won't run.
