2023年6月20日 · 24.5 is very small and outdated. 27 inch is still small. I recommend 32 inch or 34 inch ultrawide if I was being honest. Curved is also better as well. The above is only a recommendation if you actually have a good PC. If you are playing on a mid grade 1080p computer then 27 inch would be the largest you should go. Still, 24.5 inch is small.

The difference between 24/27 in person is actually fairly small I think, and in CS and most competitive games you don't really want 1440p, but in pretty much any other game you want 1440p. I think a 24 inch 1080p monitor is fine actually, but I'll be buying a 27" 1440p/4K monitor for content consumption to go alongside my 24" 144hz monitor.

2022年10月29日 · Might as well give the full wall of controversial but arguably true monitor statements:- 24 inch 1080p looks like crap for text/work. 27 inch 1440p looks like crap for text/work. 32 inch 4k looks like crap for text/work. Apple are right that 4k should be used 20-24 inches., 5k at 27 and 6k at 32 for ideal “sitting in front of a screen” use.

I’d go 27 inch. I came from a 15.6 1440p laptop and 27 inch monitor is massive lol. Couldn’t imagine a 32 inch. Plus you’ll get better picture on a 27 1440p vs a 32 1440p. And if I’m. It mistaken you don’t quite get extra Real estate with a 32 vs a 27 since both resolutions are the same and aspect ratio is the same.

2022年8月31日 · 1080p on a 24 inch monitor is 92ppi 1440p on a 27 inch monitor is 108ppi ~17% more ppi which is noticeable but not a huge difference. However if you are going to set the 27inch monitor further away from you than your 24inch was, the perceived ppi will be greater.

I have a 1440p 144hz 27" monitor, which I absolutely love. But 27" IMHO is to large for CSGO. So I play on a custom resolution that give me the equivalent of a 22-24 inch screen with black bars on the top, bottom, and sides. Works perfect for CSGO and then back to 27" for everything else.
