Sure every one has its own differences but if you want a newer Corolla with lower miles than stick with a 10th gen or 11th gen, new or used. I own both a 9th gen & 10th gen Corolla and love them both. That being said, my favorite is my 10th gen.

Nov 24, 2023 · Can’t go wrong with the 9th gen corolla. Both automatic and 5 speed returned 30 plus mpg for the 1zz. Some 2003 and 2004 corolla were built with extra engines from the 8th gen or 2002 models. Those engines had severe oil burning issues. 2005 - 2008 corolla went to electronic throttle. AKA drive by wire. Nothing wrong with them, mid gen changes.

Dec 24, 2008 · 9th Gen XRS with Celica GTS 2ZZ-GE motor and 6 speed is a blast to drive. It has been showing tremendous potential lately with N/A mods going over 190 wheel HP with just intake/header/exhaust and PFC tune and running 14.0 - 14.1@100 mph on the dragstrip and revving up to 8700 rpm.
