First of all, make sure you do not have any third-party ad blocking extensions, like uBlock Origin, Adblock Plus… Even if you disable Edge's built-in tracking prevention feature, these extensions will still block ads in the background.

Here is a solution Microsoft, people are complaining about Edge becoming too much bloat. I personally don't see that as the case, just many options for working with bookmarks, tabs and the like. Although there is one suggestion; make an Ad Blocker for YouTube videos.
