Season Six is set along the shore of the east arm of Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories of Canada, about 400 km (250 mi) south of the Arctic Circle and about 120 km (75 mi) south of the arctic tree line.

The intense survival show that pushes contestants to their limits is back for a sixth season. 10 participants are placed far out in the wild and must survive for 100 days to win the show’s cash prize. Season 6 is set south of the Arctic Circle on a lake in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
