We took the train's 12:30 pm Gold Star Service (their glass dome car) from Denali to Anchorage which included lunch and dinner. The train left on time and the scenery was amazing. Our experience quickly went downhill from there. The train slowed to 8 mph for a prolonged stretch with no explanation provided. The food was mediocre at best.
