Jan 19, 2022 · In my personal opinion, really bad idea… Minoxidil loses efficiency over time, and once you recede further which is almost guaranteed being a NW4 in your mid 20’s, you’d end up with a strip of hair and then gaps behind it and you’d be playing a life long game of catch up that in your situation your donor area probably wouldn’t support.

I’m not saying don’t get a hair transplant. I’m saying a lot of people are being overly aggressive and need to account for more hair loss. You can still get a hair transplant that looks good, but if you’re 26 you should be planning for a hairline that will fit you going forward not one that fits your as a 23 year old.
