2021年5月2日 · I try to download a torrent today, and first time ever Windows 10 displays a popup "Potentially Unwanted App", and utorrent will not open. I go to Windows Security and allow the utorrent app, and all is fine. But when i restart windows i have to do this each time. Is there a fix or workaround? Have Microsoft just declared war on torrents?

First, check if your firewall or antivirus is blocking the app—try adding an exception for it. Next, ensure your network adapter drivers are up to date. You can also try enabling UPnP in both your router and torrent client settings.

2010年9月29日 · It would open utorrent so I could download the file. By accident I clicked to download and the box to do this everytime was checked. Now I cant get it back to the way it used to be. I tried clicking on the box that says auto open the program window and to start the download automatically and nothing seems to help.

2021年4月19日 · In reality, Speed is a free market based on fair auction where users pay other users for the content they want to download faster. If the seeded content is not on demand or the number of available slots is higher than the number of leechers there will be no reason to spend any BTT on getting access to the file.

2018年4月21日 · I've recently installed the newest version of uTorrent. I do a lot of magnet links, but suddenly it won't download torrents. A family member had been on my PC recently, but I don't think they screwed this up. It may have a simple fix, but I'm heavily medicated and can't focus enough to think of it. Help?

2024年10月5日 · I am unable to download anything.. It just remains in "connecting to peers" and I am pretty sure it is failing the "run test" in setup guide. Please see the screenshot below. Has anyone had this issue before? This is the first time I have had this after recently switching to windows 11. Thank you.

2021年9月26日 · My computer uninstalled µtorrent without me asking it. It is now impossible for me to download the application on my computer because it says "virus detected" at the end of the download. I have Windows defender and I think the problem comes from there. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem? Thank you all and have a nice Sunday.

2022年1月8日 · More, I'm trying to download one particular torrent, an older, rather obscure movie, and someone, presumably google, keeps Pausing the download. This has been going on for 2 days now. I've gone so far as to delete the download entirely and start again from scratch but the same problem immediately started again.

2007年6月20日 · so i see that it is a very fluid equasion that varys depending on how many peers are connected to the seed, myself being the seed, this is compounded for each individual file i seed. and the bandwidth of each peer. and when i download i should stop a seed to make room for my new download. also my download speed is limited by the number of seeds ...

The app will prompt you to select the files you wish to download within the torrent, and choose a download location (those are advanced features; you don’t have to use them). Tap “Add.”
