While it has a language element to it, I'm primarily interested in the historic use of the word to describe the island of Great Britain in a Celtic context. Given the large range that Celtic settlements existed over plus the timescales involved there's not going to be a fixed height just like there's not a fixed height for modern Europeans but there are regional averages. –
