Chaminade High School has been serving the Long Island community since its founding in 1930. The school is owned and operated by the Society of Mary, the Marianists, and is named after Blessed William Joseph Chaminade.

Since it first rose from a potato field in Mineola in 1930, Chaminade High School has grown from its main building on Jackson Avenue to include three athletic fields; an Activity-Athletic Center; a Physical Fitness Center; Gold Star Stadium; and a Science, Technology, and Research Center.
