Why Is Crowley So Likable? : r/Supernatural - Reddit
That’s why I love Crowley- masterful character development by the show. So many bad guys are one-dimensional. They’re just bad, that’s it. But Crowley, you learn so much about his human life, how he was raised, what he has overcome, his ambitions, his insecurities, his hopes, and in the end, his humanity.
Crowley was one of the best parts of the show. I love him.
To be fair, most of the demons we met before season 5 were incredibly powerful -- Alistair, Azazel, Lilith, Samhain, the 7 original deadly sins, etc. Aside from a few Crossroad demons, we didn't meet too many run-of-the-mill demon lackeys until later in the show.

Crowley was best as an intimidating, violent, intelligent foe. Him looking for the tablets and tormenting Kevin etc. was really good stuff. Then they just turned him into the boys assistant and he lost all his oomf.

Nov 3, 2021 · Crowley arguably helped make the show what it was and was an absolutely critical component nearly equal to the importance of Castiel behind the boys. I love Crowley I hated how he was treated as time spanned on far beyond his villain days and further.

Crowley, Bobby, and the OG death getting killed off were the biggest frustrations for me. I know the writers wanted to raise stakes and commit to killing off characters by offing them. But, frankly, I never watched Supernatural for the grimdark drama and season long plots.
Does anyone else think Crowley is great? : r/Supernatural - Reddit
Honestly think Crowley's more beloved by the fandom than Sam is. And I think I like him more than Sam. Arguably the best part of Supernatural continuing on was getting more Crowley, there's an alternate world where Crowley's only in three episodes at the very end of series.
Crowley. Nobody understood him, but he fought for all.
Sep 12, 2023 · My man Crowley died protecting Sam and Dean while combating Lucifer because he knew he was a threat to not only himself but all demonkind and really existence itself. And yet all throughout his career he was continually backstabbed (demons, the Winchesters and just about everyone else) despite literally trying to save all their stupid assbutts.
Crowley is definitely my favorite character in supernatural.
Jan 20, 2021 · For sure Crowley is my favorite, Mark Sheppard is amazing. So many other great characters, Donna, Charlie, Jody, Bobby, Balthazar, Mick, even Lucifer, and Rowena grew on me. Of course if there are any you don't like just wait a couple episodes and …
