2013年5月16日 · I decided to build the stand for my newly acquired 75g tank. I didn't like how low all the store bought stands sit and how overpriced they are for the quality. I consider myself pretty handy but have never really built anything with wood, so my tools and knowledge are limited. After looking over many DIY stands I decided to go with the 2x4 frame.

2021年2月6日 · Looking for basic plans including measurements to build a stand for a 75 gallon tank. Want it to be able to hold a 40 gallon breeder tank under to be a sump. I have a stand currently but not enough space to hold much of anything bigger then a 20 gallon and this stand does not have a bottom for the sump to sit on. Andrew

2019年3月1日 · 75 and a reasonably heavy wood topper 2x3 borders with a 3/4" MDF/veneer covered top, ... like 40lbs+ extra weight. (but if my cats ever jump on the tank it wont be a blood bath) The bottom half of the back will be covered with 18" strip of plywood. The top of the stand will have a 1/2 plywood topper but glued not tacked.

2006年3月24日 · I simply don't have room to place 2x4s like that though because I am using a 55 gallon sump, which is only 6 inches narrower than the 75, whereas two 2x4s places so would decrease the open with from (18.5" - 2(1.5")) to (18.5" - 2(3.5")) or from 15.5 inches, which I can slide the 55 in and out as needed, to 11.5" in which case I could not take ...

2013年1月25日 · Height of the stand will also play a factor too since it may mean and extra sheet or 2 needed to get the necessary cuts. For the most basic "box" with doors and shelves you'll be looking at around $150 in material roughly.
