2020年12月21日 · On first blush, the DMC4101 looks like a good deal, especially the fact that it's an "exact" replacement for Dometic's 8 cu ft absorption fridge. However, the DMC4101 is very expensive -- about $1500. Several years ago we replaced our Dometic absorption fridge with a Whirlpool residential fridge. After 7 years it was still going good.

Search for, Dometic 4450021668 Temperature Probe for CFX3. it's the same part I think until you get to the 75 liter size. It's a simple enough job you can probably repair out in the field if it happens to your unit. When it fails, the fridge won't get an accurate temp reading, and it'll keep running all the time, freezing your food.

2013年12月13日 · My Dometic Refridgerator, Model NDA1402 quit working recently. I have power to it but it won't get cold on either gas or electric. The weather here in Cheyenne, WY recently has gotton well below zero and the refer just quit. I opened up the outside vent cover and placed a drop light with a 75w bulb to try and keep it somewhat warm.

2018年8月31日 · Watch the temps. In just an hour, in this mode, my freezer was down to about 20 and the fridge was about 50. In a couple of hours the freezer war about 10 and the fridge 40. After 8 hours the freezer was at 1 and the fridge was at 20. At that point I turned it off. If you get similar results, which I think you will, your thermister is bad.

The dometic also has a smaller outside volume and from everywhere ive seen posted has lower power consumption. I wish there was a good place to get unbiased fridge reviews from multiple brands. Youtube used to be good for that but its nothing but click bait paid shills now.

2020年3月5日 · Dometic let it be known last year that they were the manufacturer of the ARB fridge for many years (all the ones with the blue lids), and ARB recently went with a new supplier. From what I heard, the ARB was outdated technology, but was still good, efficient, well insulated, and blue. It just wasn't the latest and greatest and most efficient.
