2020年11月18日 · Although the Coronet seems to be more of its own thing vs. being a true Junior. The Epiphone Junior is quite awesome, once sorted, and is hard to put down. The goal is to get the Coronet to that level of satisfaction. The ohm reading of the pickups are 8.8 or so for the Junior, vs. 7.6 or so from the Coronet.

2024年5月14日 · I have a reissue Coronet. I paid around 400 euros for it. The pickup is amazing. It does the P90 thing very well but only after using shims to get it close to the strings. That's true of every P90. The G string is always sharp. I suspect the Chinese lightning bridge is just built wrong. I'll replace it with something better soon.

2010年2月3日 · Then in 1963 the Epiphone Coronet body changed again slightly, making the treble side cutaway "horn" shorter, and changing the peghead tuners to 6-on-a-side (a la Fender). These weren't bad things, but most people seem to like generation 1 and 2 of the Coronet body better than the asymmetrical gen3 body style.

2019年8月18日 · The full body pickguard is consistent with the promo coronet. The neck is most likely some type of Asian mahogany substitute. The body could be anything from Asian mahogany, to alder to basswood. The pickup is aftermarket. You'd have to pull it out to see what it is. These probably came with a basic Epiphone ceramic pickup or an alnico classic.

2020年11月18日 · I wish I could have kept the Satellite Coronet I reviewed, but at over $3K, that wasn't possible. I went into this deal fully expecting that I'd have to put a little work into this Epiphone I did, but obviously, Gibson is defying the lawsuit and is selling them anyway. I know the details of what's going on, but I cannot post them publicly. Sorry.
