Instead find the software program that came with the scanner such as Epson Scan or HP Scan etc. and make a shortcut to that. When you click on that, the program will open the scanner and be able to scan after you select the settings.

2024年7月3日 · Epson V600 works with Microsoft scan for documents but can't scan slides or negatives. Epson scan or epson scan2 doesn't work, neither does Vuescan. Epson service centre suggested it was an old defective scanner not worth repairing so now I have two V600 which don't work. This seems to be a windows issue. Surely someone can sort this out!

2017年11月3日 · I'd seen the Epson Stylus Photo 500 in there, but I was presented with an option for 2 different drivers. I choose the higher version number and it worked! I am now able to see/use the printer and scanner, and the Scanner shows up in "Fax and Scan" and I can use it in the Windows Scan app (download for free on the Windows store).

1 issue though is that the action buttons on epson scan no longer show (preview, scan etc) if you click on the area they should be they still work and then appear- which is great if you know where all the buttons are! it worked perfectly fine the 10 min before i did the upgrade then had this issue immediately after.
