GMC Envoy Headlight Problems - Page 2 - Edmunds
I have a 2005 GMC Envoy and my headlights have quit working, well at least the low beams (both sides at the same time). I have checked the fuses and the bulbs and both are fine. What else can I check before giving up and landing at the mercy of a local auto shop? I am not exactly a mechanical girl, so feel free to speak in short words.

GMC engineers contacted by dealer and a 3rd module sent (different model)and it is working. Love the space and design, miss the compass, get a lot of complements about the vehicle, highway mileage (10.1L/100km)is better than my 2001 Blazer.

I also have an after market HID solution. I pulled two 9006 bulb retainers off of 4 headlight (late 90's) GM sedan. I removed the mounting flange from the original bulb and used that to secure the 9006 bulb retaine to the headlight. Now any 9006 bulb will work including 9006 HID conversion kit.

I am looking to buy an used car (Sedan, max is $22000, preferably AWD and manual transmission, prefer to have the mileage within 20K). By the way our kids are grown and have there own cars. If we need to have others in the car too bad. :shades: She has been looking for a white coupe for a while. We got a great deal since it is year end. The coupe is much more attractive than the sedan. Actually if I were to get a sedan I would rather get the C350, much better looking than the BMW.

To me G35 is near luxury performance sedan. It has good performance, good sound system, features of luxury car. On the other hand, STI does not even TRY to become one. Yes it has performance, but thats about it. No more and the price tag of this car is below near luxury performance sedan. Loud engine, no radio.
