Obviously TH’s Bill’s voice back then wasn’t fully developed, but compared to adult male voices in English and other languages, the German singers I’ve heard sound much deeper. Is it the specific singers? Something about the German language?

2014年5月18日 · I'm very aware of the fascination of Hitler and the rest of the regime with the "pure" German composers, such as Orff, Wagner, Beethoven, etc. I'm also familiar with the attempts at German jazz/dance music. What I'm most curious about is the German equivalent to American popular songs like "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy."

Surprisingly, Germany has a few singers/bands to offer *besides* Rammstein (ignoring english language performers such as the Scorpions, this is about Bands/singers that perform in german). The letter R itself in the alphabet for example has the following four possible pronunciations (according to Wikipedia): R bzw. r (gesprochen: [ʔɛɐ̯], [ʔɛʁ], [ʔɛʀ] oder [ʔɛr]) Standard German is not an accent, or a sort of pronunciation rules.

KMFDM (most of their stuff is English, but they’ve a few tracks in German) Oberer Totpunkt Sielwolf KieW SITD (another mostly English singing band, but a lot of their lyrics are about Germany) There’s a lot of others but it’s either almost entirely English language or instrumental German artists.

German is a highly poetic language, this statement isn't even pretentious but a fact. Understanding the lyrics in a literal way isn't hard, understanding the meaning is. Rammstein is under fire since ages, but always for the wrong reasons.
