2008年8月30日 · Many of the "vintage" tuners on new Gibsons are made by Grover. All the new ones are 14:1 ratio regardless which way you go. My favorite tuner - bar none - is the Grover Rotomatic. They are heavier than all the rest, very tough, very well made. The "vintage" style Grovers are made alot lighter and I've still seen a few come apart.

2019年4月28日 · I have what appear to be Grover 102n (nickle) tuners on my ES-339. I say this because I have just bought a 102c (chrome) set to replace the G-Force on the LP. They look identical. (There is a tiny 102c sticker on the Grover blister pack. You have to hunt for it.)

2019年3月11日 · 1. The Gotoh SX510 diagrams show the bottom hole as being 0.5mm off from the Rotomatic hole (10 vs 10.5). You mentioned this with the Grover 135, but is it not the case with the Gotoh? 2. Are the Grover 135s drop in replacements for Klusons and other stock Gibson tuners? I would assume yes.

2009年12月21日 · the original grover's where made in the u.s cleveland ohio. the tuners that are on the epipi are made in china. the body of the tuners are smaller and the screw leg is angled as the u.s. one is not.when you order a set from a u.s. guitar store you get the better grovers tuners.

2014年10月15日 · The Kluson-style tuners are not fully sealed like Rotomatics, and do require occasional lubrication (and cleaning, on vintage ones). I've never thought this was a significant drawback. I'm pretty sure they are both made in China now.

2008年6月25日 · I am looking to disassemble my grover tuners ( to replace the tuning key for a vintage type ) because the holes in the headstock are too big for the vintage tuners I want to fit. I know the Grover tuners are a die cast housing but by the looks of it, the circular convex cover on the back of the tuner is where I need to get to.
