2016年4月16日 · Six years in the house, and it seems every time I go to vacuum corners lately, out runs another house centipede. Nearly 30 years in SD county and I don't remember seeing these at all until about a year ago.

2015年4月18日 · I had the air conditioner on in my bedroom tonight while I wasnt in it, then when I returned, there was something that looked like shedded insect skin right on my comforter, and the skin has a line down the middle. I think it could be from a house centipede and Im terrified, so afraid that Im on the sofa instead of in the bed.

2011年7月16日 · As others have mentioned, it is actually a good thing to have at least some house centipedes in your home, as they are harmless to humans and eat other pests (most commonly spiders). If you continue to see a bunch of them after being in the house for a while, though, I would definitely get it checked out.

2012年5月18日 · House Centipedes are gross, but believe it or not they are harmless. They actually kill other insects (spiders, ants, etc) and like cool, dark and damp places. I see them every now and then in my place and simply kill them on site.

2010年9月9日 · The thing ran inside the house before I was able to kill it and ran for a corner near my computer. I quickly got something to swat it with but it disappeared before I got to it. The thing was probably 6 inches long and surprisingly quick -- must be all of the legs. What am I most likely dealing with? Centipede or millipede?
