2019年11月24日 · You will always have files in the "Recent" folder. As you open or edit files, the newest (most recent) ones will be at the top. It is not an infinite list. The oldest files, the ones you opened the longest time ago, at the bottom, will slowly disappear (if you never open them again) from the list as they are replaced by the more recent ones.

Download history: The list of files you've downloaded using Chrome is deleted, but the actual files aren't removed from your computer. Passwords: Records of passwords you saved are deleted. Autofill form data: Your Autofill entries are deleted, including addresses and credit cards. Cards and addresses saved in your Google Account aren't deleted.

This log probably also helps a user to identify unfamiliar activity and if one of the purposes was to do that, I doubt Google would allow that to disappear so then the author/owner of the account can recognize activity they did not take and then deal with it accordingly.
