I have a Altima 22 & I too lost 1 key fob out of the 2 I got with the vehicle. So the dealership quoted me $300.00 for new fob with programming. 2023年12月2日 · 2019 Jetta key fob programming I can buy the key fob from the dealer but do I really have to suck up for the high programming fees to do the programming at the dealer? Is there a device or someone that can program the key fob cheaper? I can't imagine the dealers are the only ones that has the equipment/capability to program VW key fobs.

2022年8月6日 · Ace hardware programmed mine, but it did take me a while to find a store where “the key kid knows how to do that.” 75 for key and 50 for programming. Worst case a locksmith can do it for a little more than ace.

2023年8月15日 · The Countryman is an R60 model designation. The only reason you would need to program your key is for the Comfort Access features. Otherwise, it comes programmed to the car already and will start your car. Granted, it comes programmed if you bought the key from a MINI dealer. A cheap Amazon or eBay key will not work.

The other buttons will still work if you have a Remote Start fob but lack the actual feature. As mentioned, dealers or many locksmiths can do the programming for additional fobs.

2024年1月10日 · My job was to show up to dealers and fix cars the dealers couldn’t….key programming can be difficult and sometimes does require cjb replacement and sometimes kvm (keyless vehicle module) replacement but that is only in cases where both keys are gone and or the vehicle is locked and alarm armed but keys are gone or inoperative.

2023年11月28日 · How much does it cost to program a new key fob? I bought the key on sale from a Toyota dealer but they quoted the cost to reprogram it at $300. This seems very high for a simple programming job. I'm in southern CA. Thanks.
