2021年5月25日 · Buying my first motorhome, what would be the recommendation of the group. I have looked at a LA 4551, Essex 4551, and a King Aire 4531. I am interested in the group feeling as to the best unit between Newmar, and Integra and Foretravel, which I haven't seen, but at the same level of 605 hp and luxury and quality. The units would be 2019 or newer.

If you are trying to stay within a budget would you get the newest Dutch Star within that budget or an older King Aire, Mountain Aire, etc.

2017年8月22日 · The new King Aire comes with a Class V (2 1/2") hitch. Clearly a reducer is needed to use it with the Blue Ox tow bar. But the holes in the hitch receiver are quite a bit larger than the standard 5/8" pin that is in the Blue Ox and the reducer.

2012年2月8日 · I just replaced the starting batteries 1000CCA were $150 each and Interstate U-2200 6 volt house batteries were just over $500 for the four. The Esssex and King Aire may use AGM's and have 8 of them. That's going to be something like $3,000 to replace them. The maintenace costs on a Newmar will be much the same as any other MH of the same size.
