Lake Marie is the Western most lake at the top of the Biway in front of the granite faces of the Medicine Bow range. Unless, its really foggy or cloudy its hard to miss while driving. The range itself is much more striking coming from the East so for a better view, drive from Laramie.

The trailhead is located on the south side of the Snowy Range Scenic Byway near Mirror Lake Picnic Site and the West Lake Marie Trailhead. It is managed by the Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District. There are restrooms at the Lake Marie Parking area.

2023年8月15日 · Lake Marie Trail. We parked at the Mirror Lake picnic and fishing area to catch the trail over to nearby Lake Marie. Alternatively, you can park in the West Lake Marie parking area and walk the trail over to Mirror Lake. Either way, you’ll have a nice out-and-back walk between both lakes.
