Jun 17, 2016 · It essentially means Lenovo will cover the non-swappable battery for the duration you purchased, ONCE. For the swappable battery, the warranty on that is 1 year. Also keep in mind that if you upgrade the warranty on the Ideapad, it will take 30 days before the upgraded warranty is effective. For Thinkpad, it's most likely next day.

Dec 25, 2023 · If you had a 1yr adp warranty and extended it for the same adp warranty type to 3yrs you would be covered in the 2nd year. If you had a 1yr adp warranty and extended it to a 3yr warranty of a different type, then the 1yr adp would have expired and the new type of warranty would activate at the 2yr mark.

Aug 7, 2022 · Unless you purchsed directly from Lenovo, the supplier of the laptop is supposed to handle warranty. If you purchased at a reputabe shop, they might take it in for repairs. If it's not covered by the warranty terms (accidental damages are NOT covered by law*) the best they can probably do is get you a good deal on repairs.
