2005年6月8日 · A excavator is the way to go you can rip the stumps out cleaner plus you can landscape the land while your pulling the stumps out. A excavator can pile burn piles so much easier and piled so when you do burn them the pile falls into the center while it burns.

It may be more logical for me to buy an excavator, since i will need to dig out for the basemant for my house. I also have a friend with a excavator who would prolly let me rent it for a few weeks for a decent price.

2010年11月12日 · I dont think itll work either. Im just basing my opinion on years of excavator with a hammer and track drilling & blasting operations. I took an excavator and tried to bust a few stumps up that were still in the ground. They were sugar maple and about 18 inches in diamater. It didnt work to good.

2002年1月29日 · If the excavator dig them out, you still have to get rid of them. It's getting harder and harder to find places to take the root balls. If you do have a spot to dump the balls, you won't dig it out, load it up and haul it to the dump, in less than 45 seconds.
