2 天之前 · The park's centerpiece is the 129-foot Burney Falls, which is not the highest or largest waterfall in the state, but possibly the most beautiful. Additional water comes from springs, joining to create a mist-filled basin.

McArthur-Burney Memorial Falls State Park is within the Cascade Range and Modoc Plateau natural region, with a forest and five miles of streamside and lake shoreline, including a portion of Lake Britton.

McArthur-Burney Falls State Park offers you access to the new-get-away-from-it-all rental cabins. Twenty-four one and two-bedroom cabins are located within walking distance from the Falls and the beautiful new camp store.

McArthur–Burney Falls Memorial State Park is the second oldest state park in the California State Parks system, located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) north of Burney, California. The park offers camping, fishing, watersports, hiking and horseback riding facilities.

Falls Memorial State Park sits on the eastern edge of the Cascade Range, between majestic Mount Shasta and Lassen Peak. The park’s centerpiece is the thundering white-water falls on Burney Creek, augmented by the voluminous springs emanating from the basalt cliff face.

All access to the waterfall and falls pool area at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park will be closed due to reconstruction of the main trail through the entire 2024 summer season. The park and Lake Britton will be open for the summer season.
