Why does my snowman not make any snow trails? : r/Minecraft
See if the server has mob greifing on or off, if it’s off it will not allow creeper to blow up, ghast balls to blow up, ender man to pick up blocks, sheep will not eat grass (they will still eat and gain their fur back but will not take away the grass) and it will not allow snow golems to leave snow trails.

2011年9月23日 · In general, I think that the snowman is a really poorly thought out mob. Why is it not traditionally crafted (with sticks included)? How does it live? Why a pumpkin? How does it move? What's the point? Granted, I haven't tried 1.9 yet, but between that and the mooshrooms, and the squidward villagers minecraft is starting to feel too goddamn silly.

Well yes but actually no. I don’t think the snow balls will catch fire. Also entitle cramming is a thing so summoning too many can cause the snow golems to damage themselves but it is worth a shot.

So many people don't understand how the game works. Thrown snowballs are entities, and entities catch on fire when exposed to a flame. Simple as that. People are acting like minecraft is known for its adherence to the laws of thermodynamics.
