2012年1月20日 · Most Accurate Caliber There have been a myriad of custom rifles built off the Remington 700 Long Action. If you like the .270 Win, have the barrel miked for concentricity. If the concentricity is good, you might just want to have it recrowned and stick with .270 Win. No one cartridge is more accurate than the next.

Rifles below that may be good but they do not have enough punch to be considered long-range elk medicine. .340 Weatherby may be the perfect elk caliber. The .338 RUM has considerably more power & range than the Win mag, and slightly more than the Weatherby.

However, most folks don't shoot that big a rifle for just target shooting. It's expensive and it does kick. Outstanding cartridge for an all-in-one North American rifle.

2007年4月24日 · Most accurate .40 cal. semi I own and shoot 2. A Kahr MK4043 .40 cal S&W and a Sig P229 in same (with a .357 Sig replacement barrel as well) The Sig is far more accurate tha the Kahr. At least that's what my groupings tell me. And it stands to reason.

Until you are consistently accurate at shorter ranges, longer shots are only going to magnify your shortcomings as a shooter and those of your rifle as well.
