2008年4月15日 · Non-caseating granulomas are the hallmark of Sarcoidosis and pretty much definative. Caseating granulomas are, as described, undergoing a type of necrosis in the center that begins to resemble cottage cheese - this should be considered TB until proven otherwise.

2009年8月20日 · However, based upon clinical presentation, blood work, duration of symptoms without progression, a complete review of my case, my prior brush with sarc, etc. my doctors suspect the lesions are sarc granulomas. Biopsy done revealed "caseating" granuloma which indicates infection (like TB) rather than more typical sarc "non-caseating" granulomas.
