2024年1月13日 · Even though you live and pay taxes in Ontario other provinces all get access to the Ontario reservation system the same time and day. Not right as we support the parks through our taxes all year but non residents get access to the parks the same time and day as Ontario resident. Doug Ford goverment needs to tighten up the rule book.

2023年3月26日 · Personally, I think Ontario Parks needs to copy Parks Canada's new campsite booking system. From my experience this year: I booked Sandbanks, Banff and Jasper. For Sandbanks, when sites opened at 7am for the day/week I wanted them, 95% of the sites went from green (available) to red (unavailable) within 1 second.

I know many RV Parks don't allow RVs over the age of 10 years.. Is it similar for provincial parks in ontario? I'm planning on purchasing my first RV and or teardrop trailer, but can't find anything online saying 10+ year old RVs/Trailers aren't allowed.

2023年2月3日 · ON provicial parks do not seem to identify thier HST number on the receipts, or website. Any clues? Needed for the staycation credit. Tks. EDIT Response from ON Parks: 124668666 is Business Registration # which is also HST#. If you need the RT portion – its RT0011 for Ministry (Ministry of the Environment, Conservation & Parks).

2023年2月24日 · If you're still having troubles getting sites and want to go camping, Parks of the St. Lawrence still has tons of sites open over the summer (no 5-month window) and their booking opened up yesterday for the 2023 season. It's also run by Ontario Parks, though as an entirely separate booking portal.

2021年2月5日 · We’ve also been trying to book provincial parks over the summer but I’ve been up plenty of mornings trying to book at 7am and haven’t got the site. There are hundreds like you and I all competing against each other for those last few spots available on any given day. St. Lawrence parks open on 16-Feb for reservations.

For us we just use the Provincial parks as cheap accommodation when going on Mountain Biking or Climbing trips. The FSR campsites are definitely nicer but we go for the reserved provincial camping as we typically show up late on the Friday nights (11pm) and don't want to risk it.

2022年1月15日 · r/ontario • I just learned that the Ontario government is proposing changes to Ontario Parks’ Class Environmental Assessment for Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves. Commenting period on the proposed policy is open to the public until August 20.
