2020年7月7日 · I've been working with them to open source their old DIY rig designs (hardware). These are full-motion simulator cockpits made with 80/20 T-slot aluminum. The community effort is initially focused on the hardware side of these designs, but eventually, it would be great to develop an open-source software control to drive the motion.

2013年4月2日 · True CAD software either use CSG (outdated) or boundary representation (B-Rep). All modern CAD software use B-Rep, and so does FreeCAD. OpenSCAD is popular in the 3D printing community, but it's a tool for programming-minded people - which I'm not. It can only export to .CSG (an open but non-standard file format) and .STL.

I have Bc Architecture degree, but currently my jobtime is full of Web Apps developement (PHP/JavaScript, etc.), coding (HTML/CSS) and Web Design (graphics - 2D, 3D, etc.). In free time my head is full of creating or extending existing open-source CAD systems.
