Tours at the City of Oroville Museums may be scheduled for any day of the week besides Sundays throughout the year. Although we can accommodate tours throughout the day, tours scheduled in the mornings are preferred.

The C. F. Lott House was built in 1856 and now functions as a City of Oroville Museum and Park. In recent years the house has developed wood rot that needs to be repaired for the structural integrity of the house and its longevity.

The Pioneer Museum boasts an impressive collection of artifacts and memorabilia dating from the Gold Rush era to the early part of the Twentieth Century. Historic Downtown Oroville – Enjoy a walk through downtown!

Oroville is situated on the banks of the Feather River where it flows out of the Sierra Nevada onto the flat floor of the California Central Valley. It was established as the head of navigation on the Feather River to supply gold miners during the California Gold Rush.
