2021年1月31日 · Another thing I forgot to mention about going from plasma to OLED, heat. My Pioneer 111FD was a giant space heater and would heat up my game room in the summer months, great for the winter lol. Also the plasma buzz, it's nice no longer hearing a faint humming (scene dependent, brightness) during a quiet part in a movie.

2024年3月28日 · G2, C3, the Sony A80K's and whatnot are all decent tv's. I guess the most important thing will be motion, after years of watching a plasma tv. Perhaps going from an Panasonic plasma to an Panasonic oled, like the upcoming Z95A, or even past models like MZ2000 would be a good way to go. (they are really expenssive though)

2017年1月17日 · I still have a Panasonic 42PZ77U from 10 years ago (last plasma with matte screen finish), and use it in my bedroom. I also have a LG 55EF9500 OLED, and that has completely spoiled the Plasma for me, on black levels alone. If you have anything but the highest tier Plasma, and probably even then, the OLED will be a great improvement.

2017年9月13日 · The plasma was set to contrast 50/60 and I had to set oled-light to 20/100 to visually get the same luminance. So yes the oled is much brighter. The oled picture has more punch and looks more detailed but the drawback is that scenes which have alot of noise especially near black scenes just look cleaner on the plasma.

2022年9月10日 · When you watch lots of TV and lots of that TV watching involves static images you are better of buying a LCD that is the same with Plasma and OLED. OLED is considered to be a bit more resiliant. With like 5 hours a day tv watching/partly static images it will be beyond 5 years before it has any impact.

2021年6月19日 · For TVs of the same size one 1080 TV pixel has the area of four 2160 TV pixels that can all be made to display the same shade as the unitary pixel, i.e. 2160 TV need look not worse than a 1080 TV. If SD & HD content looks better on a PDP then that isn't because of pixel number & scaling.

2022年1月25日 · I recently upgraded my Pioneer Elite Kuro 65" Plasma TV to a Sony A90J OLED 83" TV. The Pioneer is now in my basement. The picture is still gorgeous and yes, it handles motion extremely well. The 4K images on the Sony are spectacular, movie theater quality. But, the Pioneer Kuro is still fantastic, almost as good as the Sony.
