Rita and baby Harrison were put in a cab by Dexter to catch a flight. Rita forgets her ID card and asks the cab to swing by the house.

Then Rita actually cheats with the scum neighbor and acts like she is the victim lol also when she got all that plastic surgery done she didn't even look the same.

2021年12月14日 · I rewatched season 4 and it’s worse because all three kids lose Rita. Rita moved on from Paul but she deserve better than Dexter. Her neighbor seems like an ass in thanksgiving episode but they car pool and help with each other’s kids. Dexter chose to spend the day with Trinity and his family. He knew and sabotaged his coworkers case.

Like you said, the show is from his perspective so it’s important he goes after Trinity and it’s important he satiates his dark passenger but if you make an effort to see things from Rita’s view, Dexter is an absolutely horrible husband, father and just general partner.

2017年12月19日 · Rita went full succubus almost immediately after the Dexter and Lila thing. She just got really bad in season 4 when she suddenly grew enormous breasts. I also found it pretty funny that they killed her off even with her beautiful new bewbs.

Everything about discovering Dexter's apartment and dragging him into therapy is a dramatic overreaction to a scandal she created in her mind.

Dexter admits in the first few seasons that he has emotions for Rita that he’s never felt before, including genuine horniness he never felt before for instance. That’s why they had to kill her in the show, he would have had to quit for her. My favorite Rita-Dexter love scene is actually right before he finds out she’s dead.

And if Dexter can or just wants a break, which is perfectly fair here and there, she becomes even colder and angrier. The one thing Dexter definitely did wrong in S4 is lying about the apartment. I don't think it's wrong for a man to want to keep a place to himself.
