2018年9月18日 · How to change Safari favorites page icons on OS X from generic letter to logo icons of the sites? I've followed the instructions from a previous post. However, the correct icons are in the folder, but they still show up as generic letters on the favorites menu on a new tab. Anyone else experiencing this?

If I open the bookmarks sidebar (ctrl+cmd+1) and select any bookmark, its miniature generic globe changes to that specific sites favicon as does the rectangular icon in the Safari 16.3 browser tab. In Safari Settings Tabs, I use a Separate tab layout and have selected Always show website titles in tabs.

2020年9月17日 · Now that I have, unfortunately, upgraded to Safari 14, I have recreated my Top sites in a favorites folder. Is there any way to make the icons larger? All 16 of them sit in the middle of my 27" screen much too small —unable to even name them correctly. Ridiculous, unless some maven out there knows how to increase the icon's size. Thanks! - John

2014年8月29日 · If you save it as a bookmark, it will only show when you tap on the Bookmarks icon. It depends on how quickly you want to access a certain site. Also, if you are syncing to the Internet Explorer bookmarks on your computer, there is a specific Favorites Bar that populates the Favorites in Safari.

Now since a week or two, IOS or safari is rearranging it in alphabetical order, so my favorites bar is showing the internet-pages starting with a 1 ect.

I open the Bookmarks folder and see my Favorites there. How can I move that Favorites folder to the opening page. It’s the same on my iPhone too.

2019年9月26日 · I installed updates to Safari and macOS today, and now the icon size when I click on the location bar (favorites, I think), the icons are huge and overflow the window. I've been using the favorites grid for years on end now, but their new and larger size means that they overflow the space granted to the window.
