2021年11月1日 · + using RegEdit added Segoe UI Emoji (TrueType) string back in now with value seguiemj_0.ttf + another restart and now Notepad with Windows . presents the SANE LOOKING emoji:s from version 1.31. Also works in Word and other apps so seem like a working fix.

The Emojis and all UI icons in Windows 10 and 11 are part of the Segoe font family installed by default, you can probably install that font family into an apple device, but I do not believe you can swap them for the default Apple Color Emojis.

Paste one of the Unicode Emoji characters like 👽 into Word using the Segoe UI Emoji font. As expected from a color font the face is green. Export to PDF and open in Edge browser. Color is lost, the alien glyph is just back and white. Same in latest insider versions of Windows and Office. Is there a way to make this work.

2021年2月27日 · Supposedly the Segoe UI Emoji font is a "color font", and I think that means that it contains color versions of Unicode emojis. And if I use the Windows Touch Keyboard to insert color emoji into certain web apps (Google Docs, Office.com, Facebook, etc) they do appear in color. The same happens if I cut and paste them from Emojipedia.
